What are uggs? Uggs are ugly! Uggs for men...a major mistake.
In "Daily Easy English" today, the lesson (conversation) mentions uggs. Ugg boots are a type of footwear. They are boots made of sheepskin. They have soft leather on the outside and soft fleece (wool) on the inside. These boots were first made in Australia/New Zealand. They were first made back in the 1920s or so, and became very popular with Australian surfers. Ugg boots/Ug boots/Ugh boots are "unisex" in Australia (according to Wikipedia) but are mainly for WOMEN in the US. What about where you are from? Do men frequently wear ugg boots? Do you think they look good? Or are they uGGly?!!
