Tonight's FNL was a dictation. The dictations were based on HEADLINE NEWS in America today.

You had to dictate 5 sentences.
Then you had to figure out their meaning.
THEN you had to figure out WHICH headline each sentence refers to!

Child abuse (sexual), leaking inside information!!! (whistle-blowing!)—SNOWDEN!!

Transparent (open with information)

He’s talking up his friendship with Obama.

To talk up SOMETHING: to exaggerate/to brag…to talk VERY nicely of someone/smtg

To increase the value or image of something/someone!!

Kids can’t skip out of school anymore.
